Inclusions and Exclusions Aegean Tour (.PDF)

 

The Festival and Chamber choirs are preparing to tour at the Festival of the Aegean on the Greek island of Syros from July 3 to July 18, 2014.  Peter Tiboris, Founder and General Director of Mid-America Productions will provide the festival at the Apollo Opera Theater on the Island of Syros, Greece.

Residency

The residency includes 12 nights in Syros and 2 nights in Athens at a cost of $1,549 Euros, plus airfare, lunches, and most dinners. Optional excursions ($) include an all-day Island visit to Mykonos and Delos Antiquities and a day trip to St. Paul’s Corinth prior to arriving in Athens near the end of the residency.
Residency concerts include performing:

  • At Apollo Opera Theater (a concert with orchestra and distinguished guest conductors)
  • At the outdoor Miaoulli Plateia (Piazza) grand finale, on the steps  of the Capitol Building of the Cyclades ‘under the stars’
  • Solo performances with participating choirs and their own directors  at St. Nicholas Church

Intent to Participate Forms

The Rooming/Chaparone Group Preferences form was due Feb 3, 2014.
The Aegean Tour Intent to Participate form was due Monday, October 7, 2013.

Please use the HVCC CD and DVD Order Form (PDF) to purchase audio and video of previous concerts. The options include:

Please return this order and payment to the choir coordinator at your singer’s check-in table. Discs will be available at the Festival and Children’s Choir Two tables in about 2 weeks.

Scrip are gift certificates offered by merchants which provide a percentage of proceeds to the choir members. Singers sell scrip to help build their tour accounts.
