Thank you from Mary Santelmann to the HVCC 25th Anniversary Festival Chairs

Now that I have recuperated from all the excitement a little, I want to send out a message of heartfelt thanks to all the wonderful HVCC people who made this event so special. Thank you all for everything you did to make this a memorable experience for us all.

I have to give a special shout out to the Amazing All Anderson All the Time team leaders!! Marian Anderson, Terry and Larry Anderson, Chris and Ken,  you were at my side the entire time and always thinking of the things I forgot. I cannot thank you enough but I am trying here.

I must also thank Kim Miles who headed up our alumni and reunion choir team along with Tari Morse, Greta and Ray Brooks, and Leslie Seitz and Cindy who helped on lots of things.  The alumni choir was spectacular and I’m not just saying that because my kids were in it..

Diane Meyers; without you the concert would not have gone as smoothly as it did.  I had no idea about many of the “stage management” tasks (…and signage, and nametags, and connecting with the music dept guy for risers and the list goes on and on.) And with the  Uribe-Lomnicky’s to lead the ushers – it is great to have such experienced head ushers I didn’t worry about the house at all.

Molly and Jean the email queens — your assistance with communications among the group and dealing with all the money issues was truly important. Anita Neilson, thank you for staying on and helping with the newsletter!! You do such a good job with these things.  And Pam Van Londen with the web site; I am sure you saved me a gazillion phone calls.

Erin Sneller, yeahh way to go an article in the Entertainer!

Martha, Jennifer, and Gigi – the BBQ was such a great kickoff event! it really set the bar and everyone had a great time.

Karen Caul, you and your crew made the Swim party one of the most fun events of the Festival for our guest choirs…while I was having fun at the lovely, elegant, Director’s reception that kristi and Marian planned and put on with a little help from Valley catering.

Marilyn Haggerty and Lisa Frothingham, your help with the Sharing our Songs concert was so important- then I didn’t stress about that concert and could enjoy the Festival!!

Anne Loewen, the banners were beautiful and so welcoming to our guest choirs.
All that talent as a seamstress and she plays the oboe like a pro too!

Donna Schneider, Tanya Beckman and others helped with chaperoning and crossing guards to help keep all the kids safe. Thank you for your dedication and cheerful attitude.

I don’t have email addresses for our accompanists but ain’t they great! I was so proud of the music our choir and musicians made!

And of course, thank you Carol for your vision and for making it all happen !

Well, I am sure there are some people I am forgetting so let me know if i should send an addendum but I do want so much to say thank you to all the crew. I enjoy your company, wouldn’t want to put on a Festival with anyone else, and we will have a nice pot luck some evening to share memories once I get the proposal I’m writing off to NSF and can clean my house .
