After the concert on the 15th, there will be no more rehearsal until January 7th and 8th. We have so much to be grateful for and I will list a few people here knowing that I am missing lots of individuals. Suffice it to say that all of you who work for the good of the choir are so very appreciated and I know exactly what terrible shape we would all be in without all of you! Specific thanks go to:
1. Jon Seitz, who not only gathers everything for our spectacular program each year, but coordinates the sale of ads with the kids while publishing the weekly newsletter, etc.!
2. Larry Anderson, who kept after me until he actually had enough music to make a fantastic new CD called Christmas in the Valley which will be on sale to all at the concert. He did a magnificent job!!!!
3. Molly Hutzler, who with unfailing patience has gotten everyone in uniform, dealt with a VERY DIFFICULT UNIFORM company and run the office while getting out the directory in record time, etc
4. All of our coordinators, who do a fantastic job EVERY DAY for the
choir! you are all spectacular!
5. Our dedicated and talented artistic staff!!!!!! What a wonderful group of people and musicians you are! Last, but certainly not least….my own appreciation extends to the parents who get their kids to rehearsal on time, pick them up on time, supporting us in countless ways and giving us their wonderful children to teach! And to all of the singers!!!!! What outstanding people you are…..striving for the highest expression of artistic excellence you can!!!! We are so proud of you and LOVE listening to you sing!!!!!!
