It’s been a very busy 3 days!

The Aviators at Sherborne

WOW! at Wells Cathedral, I thinkDay 4

During morning rehearsal, some of the adults traveled to Weymouth, about an hour’s drive away. Others went to see Dorchester. In the afternoon, we had free time to explore the area around Sherborne School. Within walking distance was Sherborne Castle. Late that afternoon, singers rehearsed in the Sherborne Abbey, and later that evening, gave a superb concert. There was a steady rain all day that made us wonder if our loved ones back home were sending us a greeting card. One of our guides would like us to take the rain back to Oregon when we go.

Somerset tour kids having funDay 5

Early to rise and onto buses for the city of Wells. After a morning rehearsal in Wells Cathedral, we toured the Cathedral and surrounding grounds, and the explored a few blocks of nearby shopping. The Aviators gave the locals a show next to a fountain in the center of the shopping district. The evening concert was incredible.

Another early morning. Bags packed, we said our goodbyes to Sherborne School, and headed for Windsor. During a free time, some wandered the Royal shopping center while others took tours of the castle. After lunch we rehearsed and gave a concert in St. John the Baptist Church, about a block from the castle. Then it was off to our hotel near Heathrow airport. Tonight our group is off to dinner and tours.
